The guides on this website are general information
Our dental guides are written to help you understand what might be going on and how urgent it is. They are general educational information, not personal medical advice. They cannot take your history, examine you or see your X-rays, and they are no substitute for a consultation with a dentist who can.
Do not delay seeking care, and do not stop or change a medicine or treatment you have been prescribed, on the basis of something you read here.
A consultation is advice, not a definitive diagnosis
An online consultation on this website is a genuine consultation with a registered dentist, and the advice you receive is personal to you. But it is conducted remotely, based on what you describe and what can be seen on camera. Without a clinical examination, X-rays or laboratory tests, some conditions cannot be diagnosed definitively — decay under a filling, a cracked root, bone loss and early lesions frequently cannot be seen on a video call.
Where that is the case, the dentist will tell you so and refer you for an in-person visit. Please act on that advice.
No treatment is delivered online
Nothing on this website constitutes treatment. Fillings, extractions, scaling, root canals, implants and orthodontics all require a clinic.
Outcomes vary
Descriptions of treatments, timelines and costs elsewhere on this site are typical ranges in India, given to help you plan. They are not quotations and not a promise of any result. Your own case may differ, and the treating clinic sets its own fees.
Medicines
Any medicine prescribed after a consultation is prescribed for you, for that episode, at that dose and duration. Do not share it, do not repeat it without advice, and stop it and seek care if you have a reaction. Restricted medicines are never prescribed online — see the Teleconsultation Policy.
No practitioner-patient relationship from browsing
Reading this website does not create a dentist-patient relationship. That relationship begins only when you book and attend a consultation.
Warning signs that need in-person care
- Swelling of the face, jaw or neck, especially if it is spreading or you feel unwell with it
- Difficulty opening your mouth, swallowing or breathing
- Fever with dental pain
- Bleeding from the mouth that does not stop with 15–20 minutes of firm pressure
- An injury that has loosened, displaced or knocked out a tooth
- An ulcer, white or red patch, or lump in the mouth lasting more than two weeks
- Numbness of the lip or chin that has come on without an injection
Any of these means a clinic or hospital today, not an online slot.
